Traffic analysis
As an important part of our efforts to create a user-friendly website, we study the user patterns of those who visit the site. To analyse the information, we use Google Analytics.
An IP address is defined as personal data because it can be traced back to a specific piece of hardware and thus to an individual. Hermes anonymizes the user’s IP address before the information is stored and processed by Google. Thus, this cannot be used to identify the individual user.
Google Analytics uses cookies (small text files that the site stores on the user’s computer). These provide information about the individual user’s actions online. Examples of what the statistics tell us are: how many people visit different pages, how long the visit lasts, which websites the users come from and which browsers are used.
Cookie data is automatically deleted 14 months after registration. You can manage the use of cookies yourself.
The information collected by Google Analytics is stored on Google’s servers in the USA. The information received is subject to Google’s privacy policy.
Embedded content from other websites
Items on this page may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited the site from which the embedded content originated.
These websites may gather information about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking systems, and use this embedded content to monitor what you do. This also includes tracking your actions through the embedded content if you have an account and are logged into the site.
How long do we keep information about you?
